I've been disappointed in the quality of my posts lately. I've been wanting to get back to my old ways, for certain, but instead I've been blogged down with spotty, abbreviated posts (like this one) about the basic state of my existance. Not very interesting for a writer like myself. Mainly, though, my internet access has been limited and unfortunately public ever since I
crushed my laptop, so I haven't had the ideal time and space to do my writing thing for real. And tonight is no exception.

Lady -
Nice to see you want to get back in form, and the three posts beginning with this one are more in line with why I visit your blog as frequently as I do.
I, too, have taken a hiatus, worn out with the whole thing, looking upon too many of my posts as little more than masturbatory ponderings - when what I'd rather have is fulfilling conversation.
Anyway, I started up again lately (markburris.vox.com) with a new, more honest headline topic: "What was I thinking?" Now, I guess, I'm just trying to probe the thing that is my brain and see what's in there.
Hope you're getting around better, my dear gimp.
Well I guess I should say thanks, then, for not jumping ship while I stalled at the helm.
I visited your new site, and I like it, although you look menacing in your profile picture. I think you will find your new method of blogging very fulfilling. Your one post got me to thinking about an epitaph of my own. I'm going to think about it and get back to you. And you still have to come up with yours.
